USPRE member Nicole Harrington and Camomila MCD received word last month that they qualified among the top 12 horses in the United States at the FEI 6 Year Old Level for the annual Markel USEF National Young Horse Championships, held this weekend in St. Charles, IL.
Camomila MCD, owned and bred by McDowell Equestrian, had a stellar 2016 competition season at first level and the FEI 5 year old level, earning her a spot on the 2017 USPRE COPA team and winning Reserve National Champion at the United States Dressage Finals. In 2017, she has continued her successes at third level and in the FEI 6 year old classes, earning scores into the 70s at third level and up to 78% in the FEI six year olds. Her achievements so far this year have culminated in an invitation to the prestigious Markel Young Horse National Championships for 6 year olds. This is a tremendous achievement and we all are very excited for this young PRE mare’s future with hopes of international competition. Congratulations to rider, owner and team!
