The prestigious annual Award of the Foro de Opinion el Caballo Espanol will be presented later this month to the United States PRE Association for its work with the PRE horse in America. The Foro (FOECE) is a group of eminent breeders and leaders in the PRE community, consisting of the owners of the founding PRE farms of Spain, past presidents of ANCCE, international judges and Spanish equestrian team trainers, among others. Every year they recognize an organization that has furthered the development of the PRE horse with excellence. In their letter to USPRE, President Ernesto Vazquez Lopez acknowledged the work of USPRE in “the promotion of the horse, in breeding and registration, which has resulted in a noticeable increase in the number of breeders, and also in the number of livestock of great quality, and equally in the promotion of the art of horsemanship at various levels.”
Several members of the Board of Directors of USPRE will be on hand in Sevilla on November 27 to accept this award at a luncheon in their honor.
