The Show “OF MEN AND HORSES” was a sell out on both Friday and Saturday nights

SICAB.TV  has surpasses the 250,000 mark with visits from China, Australia and New Zealand

The SICAB app was a success with some 10,000 downloads

The 23rd edition of SICAB (International PRE Trade Show) organized by ANCCE (National PRE Breeders’ Association of Spain) has surpassed all expectations thanks to the change in dates.  Traditionally held the last week of November, this year, the event was moved to the first week of December, which achieved a 25% increase when compared with the previous year.

In terms of breeder participation statistics, there were 1100 horses from more than 300 stud farms coming from Spain, Europe and other parts of the world to participate in this 23rd edition.  SICAB revitalizes the economy of the city of Sevilla, and logically, the region of Andalusia thanks to the turnover it generates.  This, in turn, has direct and positive repercussions for the city and contributes to internationalize Sevilla the world over.  Sixty-five countries breed PRE horses and all eyes on the events unfolding at the International PRE Trade Show.   The influence of SICAB begins by the 15th of October and spans until the 31st of December, with more than fifty million euros in business transactions.  This corresponds to 60% of all PRE sales.

SICAB applications for smartphones—available for iPhone and Android—have been a real success with some 10,000 downloads. This has allowed users to follow all of the events taking place at the venue.  Furthermore, SICAB.TV has been broadcasting all of the equestrian competition live and in HD.  There were more than 250,000 vistas to the television platform from the United States, Holland, Mexico, France, and Italy as well as from Australia, Japan, New Zealand and China.

187 journalists from eleven countries were accredited to cover the many activities.  These reporters were from Spain, France, Great Britain, the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico, Germany, Sweden, Colombia and Guatemala.

On Tuesday, more than a thousand unemployed people visited SICAB free of charge. Wednesday was Children’s Day, with 4874 children between 5 and 16 coming from 50 schools in the city and province of Sevilla.
