This year, USPRE is asking for our members to join in the process of identifying the people who have contributed the most to the benefit and success of the PRE horse in 2013, by nominating their choices for the following 2013 Year End Awards*:
Horse & Rider Of The Year – Our performance award is presented to the PRE horse and rider that have achieved national distinctions in USDF or FEI sanctioned competitions, or in other rated, open sport competitions.
Member of the Year – Our Member of the Year distinction is awarded to member(s) who give special contributions through time, talent, hospitality, and means to the work of USPRE.
Equestrian Award Of The Year – This prestigious award is presented to honor the PRE. Breeder, Owner, Rider or Enthusiast that has most contributed to promote the Pure Spanish Horse (P.R.E.) in the general equestrian community.
We are looking for feedback from our membership around the country as to those individuals who have served our community and association through their work for the PRE Horse. Please send the name of your nominations, along with an explanation for your recommendation, in an email to Ricardo Nigaglioni at ricardo@usprea.com. Final selection will be made by the Board of Directors and announced at the January 22, 2014 USPRE Event in Wellington.
*Award Recipients must be Members of USPRE.
