Palm Beach Dressage Derby

USPRE Bestows its First Dressage High Point Award!

Janne Rumbough and Gorron at the Palm Beach Derby!

Janne & GoGo

USPRE is pleased to announce that it has presented its first Dressage High Point Award last weekend to rider Janne Rumbaugh and her domestic-bred PRE gelding, Gorron GF. Janne is a long-time rider of the PRE and is one of the first in the United States to compete a PRE in dressage competition. Beginning with Gaucho (one of the United States’ most prolific breeding stallions), Janne has trained and shown a number of important competitors up through Grand Prix in the highly demanding Wellington winter show circuit. Gorron (or Go-Go, as she calls him) is a 1999 Bay gelding by Navarre, out of Gloriosa VII. This past weekend at the prestigious Palm Beach Derby, Janne and Gorron were awarded the USPRE Adult Amateur FEI High Point Award with a 65.5% and 2nd Place at Prix St. George. Congratulations, Janne! USPRE is also sponsoring Dressage High Point Awards at all levels, both Open and Adult Amateur, at the upcoming Gold Coast Finale in Wellington in April.
