ALTENERO AC, bred and owned by Kilimanjaro Ranch in Malibu, California is the first ever U.S. Pure Spanish bred colt to have been sold to Spain (Click on photo to view Altenero’s video).
The sire, Alborozo (Romero Benitez bloodline) is owned by Avi Cohen and was born in Spain in 1996 at the breeding and training facilities of Caballos Espanola S.A. . A formidable performance horse, this year, Alborozo has been selected as the 2008 Briar Horse of the Year.
The Dam, Salome Jim (Romero Benitez bloodline) is owned by Armando Miranda of Hacienda Miranda in Los Angeles, California.
